I'm now having what I assume are codec/video driver issues - even with the MS decoder that worked flawlessly in Win7. If I pause/rewind Live TV, then resume, then after a while of watching the screen will black out (sound still there) and it's pot luck as to whether you can get the picture back (by pausing/skipping). Nothing is ever simple is it

Having same issue with MS Decoder, after multiple skips (about 13) the screen goes black but sound continues. Stop and resume work but I might try a Cyberlink decoder.


Just tried powerdvd 14 codec, over 100 skips back and forth with same recording and no problems.
