So I decided to revert back to Windows 7 with Media Center and I've attached an excerpt from the Ceton webpage log after tuning the same channel. Hopefully this will shed some light on what's going on.

I'm not really that familiar with Ceton devices (since I don't have one myself). I've never looked at their logs before.

Maybe this is tell me the channel is protected? We know Media Center can watch copy-once/copy-never protected channels.

Do you have the same problem with NextPVR on Win7?

The channel is not copy protected. When I view the Ceton webpage, when watching this channel in WMC, the Copy Protection says "Copy Control Information: "Copy Free" (00)".

Will installing and using NPVR mess with WMC? I have all 6 tuners assigned to WMC. I'm worried that WMC will say, "Hey, I own these tuners" if I try to use them with NPVR, or WMC will get corrupted if I start using another PVR solution. Any thoughts?

Having NextPVR installed wont cause any problems for WMC unless you start scheduling the tuners to be in use when WMC wants to use them. Just doing a few test recordings when WMC is not using the tuners wont cause any problems.

This is probably a completely different problem but I had some issues with channels not displaying properly and it turned out to be the onboard intel video drivers... in the Intel Control Panel I had to go to Video -> Color Enhancement -> Advanced and disable total color correction, I also disabled Image Scaling, and under image enhancement -> advanced disabled contrast enhancement and film mode detection, also skin tone enhancement

you may not have to do all that but play with those settings if you are running onboard intel

So I installed NextPVR on my fresh Windows 7 install to test this out. Same problem. And the problem persisted when I went back to WMC - displaying a "Subscription Required" message. I had to stop the NPVR service, restart the WMC receiver service, and power cycle the InfiniTV6 ETH to get things back to normal. I really wanted this to work, but it's just not stable enough yet to switch. Thanks for all your help, Sub!
