Plex Channel for NextPVR

Hello can anybodu help me I have npvr on my pc connected to Hauppauge hd pvr2 an it works fine on live tv without an epg .but I cant get it to sync with the plex plugin just says no source its on the same pc could anybody help me thanks

what is saying "no source on same pc" Nextpvr or plex? Have you gone into the preferences for the plex channel and set the name/ip of your nextpvr machine?

Is it normal that i cant seek during playback when viewing with Chrome? clicking on the bar just restarts the show. Also it its doesnt work well with the latest Plex Media Player preview. Either fails to play or plays content blurry as if we are looking through a frosted glass.I really want to move away from Kodi but live TV recording playback is what is holding me back the most. I like npvr because i dont have to depend on WMC so i can upgrade my OS when time comes.

On plex Windows 8 app, it works pretty well ad allows seeking (even if its painfully slow). I think the biggest issue is the fact that we are using ts files and transcoding makes it painful.

Tbh skipping is never going to work very very. Channels are designed for streaming content. So what we're fi g with the recordings are a bit out of its comfort zone. It's why it doesn't include the playback calls to start a video at a certain point - for a channel. For a video in the library it does.

If you really want better control over recordings, you'd be better to work on an agent and a scanner to load recordings to a Plex library or rename them to the s0xe0x format)

Everything is working for me except two things:
1.) On Android, I get an error about a parameter missing. I know what's causing it (did a bit of reading) but I'm not 100% sure how to fix. I downloaded from https://github.com/psyciknz/NextPVR-Plex (master). Is there a different download with this fixed? Am I even in the right place for the latest and greatest?

2.) On RasPlex on my Raspberry Pi 2, the details for live tv (once you click on a channel) do not load, and clicking play gives an error about not being able to play this stream. It works in Plex Web, so I know "it works" but it fails there.

I'm not new to Plex by any stretch of the imagination, but I've never really looked for logs, etc. (This is the first time I've had a problem I cared enough about to look for an answer) Which logs from which software do you need in order to investigate that?

Weird. my GitHub-Foo is not very good. I had fixed that. But a quick look on GitHub didn't show the change. I believe that has been put up there now....so grab at least the _init.py down again.

TypeError: CreateVideoClipObject() got an unexpected keyword argument 'checkFiles'

Try that latest version from github as checkFiles is not a parameter I'm using, so the latest change is to allow all extras that I don't explicitly name.

Not 100% sure but I think that's still happening when playing it via the web client.

After further inspection, there's a INFO (logkit:16) - CreateVideoClipObject: Playvideo: for each channel in my guide. I can't even identify where the actual call to play the video is in the log when I attempt to play it from RasPlex. I found it in the other, as it starts up a transcoding session, but I have no idea what RasPlex is doing when it tries to play.

I've been tinkering with settings and stuff, and I noticed that if I navigate to http://localhost:8866 the guide and stuff never loads there. I went looking in the NPVR settings, and noticed that by default it has a username and password set. I deleted it out and saved the configuration, and the guide loads properly at the URL now. I'm not at home to test, but could this potentially be a problem as to why it might not work?

Edit: nope, doesn't make a difference.
