Current status of NextPVR and Netflix?

Yes, I believe what you are trying to do is considered streaming. I didn't realize the trial version wouldn't stream (I've owned my copy for a couple years, got it with a Roku).

When I got mine the trial gave me Netflix for a couple of weeks then I paid for a few months, maybe contact PlaOn. Also JavaWiz should refer you and give him $5 if you decide to go ahead. Use the 30 days well, my use dimmed fast.

OK I went ahead and bought a month of PlayOn to see how it goes. It seems to work OK on the PC both Live from Netflix and Recorded.
I have downloaded ("Recorded" in PlayOn parlance) some files from Netflix using the PlayOn record feature.

It takes a wee while to discover the UPnP server too.

Now, while the PC is OK, it does not Work on the PCH-A110 NMT; at least not using Universe and Netflix (Live and Recorded).
So to see what happened I imported one of the PlayOn files into NextPVR; then tried to play that on the NMT. That worked, after a short message about buffering.

Any hints why it wouldn't work via Universe? I don't really want to import these every time (and you can import recorded files anyway).

I'd need to see the putty.log from the NMT I see the proper request is being sent

and mvpmcx2 is supposed to translate that to the IP of the host.

Sorry I can't see any emulation mode activity in that log almost like the tv is off

Am I using putty incorrectly?
The other logs show that I went into NPVR though, right?
And navigated to universe, Playon PNP server, then the recordings?

I saw an attempt to play a recording yes. I'm not sure if you need a different version of mpmcx2 for putty or not. Because of renovations I can't set up an NMT for weeks and my NAS is down too.
