Ah, that makes a bit more sense. I'll check these screens are deleting the recording the correct way.

In the mean time, can you check if unticking 'show metadata screens in recordings' helps? ie, untick, then restart the app, and try the same test for deleting a recording.

Only on the client or both client and server ?

For the moment I have recordings scheduled for the next 3 hours .

OK I unticked the show metadata screens in recordings,
then went to Recordings Ready, selected a show with multiple recordings and it delete it, it is no longer on the server TV recordings folder. Rolleyes

Did the same with a single recording, it was deleted fine.

Great.

I've fixed those other screens for the next release.

Can I add one more issue for the next release ? Rolleyes

On the client when I watch an ongoing recording with TV Guide, stop it, 9 time out of 10, I do not have the option to resume it. The 1 time out of 10 I get a Resume option, it will be there the next time I restart viewing the ongoing recording.

If I watch with TV Listings, I almost always get the Resume button. From time to time I will not get it at first restart, but on other restart, it will be available.

If you can post logs showing a playback session that didn't store the resume position, I'll check it out.

OK, I will gather them. Should I start a new thread ?

Does NextPVR in TV Guide viewing handle "Esc" differently then clicking on the Stop button in overlay ? I use "Esc" 80% of the time to stop watching a recording.

Yeah, a new thread would probably be good.

escape/stop should both call the same function as part of stopping playback.

I find Playback_Position from 2012 in the DB ! Should I delete the obsolete entries ?
