NextPVR Database Service Type

I've exported the channels from the HDPVR device and looked through the output. Each channel in the output .xml has a keyword "Channel.ServiceType" and is set to 25. I found service type only in the Channel Mapping table which contains no further information about this field.

Would you please tell me what service type is and how it's used?

It basically tells the application what type of video stream it's going to be, so it knows whether to add a MPEG2 or H.264 or HEVC video decoder.
