I'm not sure if anyone uses WOL etc, but when I wake my PC and than watch a stream via Plex (or VLC) the PC goes back to sleep later on (15 mins)

Is there a way to stop this behaviour? (ie; some NPVR or Windows setting)

Nothing in the settings? Basically you need nextpvr recording service to keep the system awake. So unless sub has built something in, I can't think of how to do it.

Yeah, I might just set a recording when I am wanting to watch the sports from the garage or work. (or check with Sub)

By the way, the samsung plex client does an awesome job of decoding the HD picture out of my HDPVR (recording Sky via HD component) (it direct plays my 13 Mbps 1080i file)

Hmm I tend to find the quality a little down for live tv. I've not worked out how to get the client to properly set what it prefers. The theory was I was suppose to leave the resolution blank when requesting the video, so the client can ask for whatever it wants.

Glad you're using it. When running live tv, then npvr recording service should be in use. Or do you have issues when watching recordings?

BTW, on github I've added a nextpvr scanner, which will take sub's default filenames and load them into a library. I'm still working on the metadata agent, as it's reading subs xml file, but not loading it to plex properly. But adding a recording to a library, you have much better control over skipping and deleting that what I can do inside a channel.

I don't have a DVB-T antenna now, and my sat card died so I am only using Next PVR to manually record stuff to keep from MySky, or watch live stream on the deck for cricket etc.
The samsung app can be a little finicky for starting the stream, but I'm not sure if that's my network, my pc, or the TV.

My bedroom TV has an HD connection to the Sky anyway, but was testing in there.
I aim to use chromecast in the garage when I am working down there, or one of those android tv boxes.

I'll have a look on Github, I still have a ton of recordings.

How do you add the custom scanner to Plex?

Goes in the Scanners directory...I thiknk I had the entire folder structure in github, but something liken plex media server\scanners\Series.

Then you assign it to the library.

The latest version of Plex Media Server seems to break the NextPVR channel. The PMS version I had problems with was: 0.9.16.00.

Going back to the previous version, 0.9.15.6, and everything works again.

I am running the latest build of the NextPVR plugin.

Hi I'm still on 9.15.3. Will update tomorrow. What client are you trying to use? And can you post any errors from the nextpvr plex log (ple/logs/pms logs)

I upgraded to .9.16 this morning and I too have the problem on chrome. Question. Does your recording have any artwork associated with it? I can see an error in the plex log looking for art work from NextPVR - and mine does not have any....wondering if that's causing Plex issues.
