Ack, I asked the question wrong.

What I wanted to know is: how often does NextPVR go out and see if there are guide updates it needs to download? Is that the parameter set in Misc2 under "TV Guide"? If so, will it wake a sleeping machine at that time, or will it wait until the next time it's awake?

It'll update the EPG nightly.

How does it handle the machine being asleep? I tend to sleep mine when I'm not using it.

It asks Windows to be awake at the time the next EPG update is due, and Windows takes care of that.

Got it, thanks. And that time is controllable through the setting in Misc2? (The one that is defaulted to 3:30a or some such?)
