If I ask for full screen, I can find no way to resize it again to allow for checking other stuff. I can exit the NextPVR programme altogether, but it would be better to still hear what is going on as I check out other stuff.

EDIT: A really important one here AFAICS is that I cannot alter the system volume without exiting the NextPVR programme.

Thanks

You can press alt-enter to toggle in and out of fullscreen mode.

Thanks. But again that means I have to have a mouse and a keyboard at my watching station, and swap between them all the time, unless I remember all the hot keys. And if there are many tasks that use only keys then what? A written list?

Can't this be put into the context menu, or on mouse move over a certain screen portion?

Sorry to sound tetchy, but it does start to get messy, when all I really want is to watch TV. I like the programme a lot otherwise, because it allows a good recording capability for multiple instances of shows.

Sorry, that's just the way it is - NextPVR was primary designed to be driven by a remote control / keyboard. There is only minimal mouse control.

I've modified the context menu for the next release to show either 'show fullscreen' or 'show windowed'.

Ok. I did a bit of reading before I just asked, and I have a RealTek remote that can be set to MCE. It starts to work, but then if I try half the stuff it fires up Win Media Centre. How do I stop that?

Thanks

Guys. I am sorry but I am out of here. I switched off WMC and tried again....and within seconds I found that asking for the Menu with the Menu btton on my remote was causing maximise/normalise of the TV window.

I am not going to spend time learning this and that command etc to gegt tghis to work.

To me a mouse is a mouse in Windows. You have many same-looking actions to choose from and yo don't need to keep switching between modes on a remote, or learning heaps of keyboard commands.\\

I am very sorryt, because the fnctionality of the programme is one of the best, but the ethos is too messy for me
