Was it the same on both systems? The video renderers very much have an effect when it comes to out-of-range numbers like used by 'remove letterbox'.

In reality, there is probably nothing I can do about it other than suggesting you try a different video renderer, or maybe look for different version of your videocard drivers (since these sometimes have an effect on how the video renderers behave in this regard).

It's no bother, but its definitely a issue where we know there are some limitations depending on the video renderer.

It's a pity they're not giving you the native HD streams, with no added black bars, since these make things a lot more straight forward when it comes to aspect ratios.
