Whe are now discussing 3 issues in the same thread which starts to confuse me.
Problems:
1) Comskip crashes right after writing "Initial commercial list" : The crash problem
2) Comskip cuts 5 seconds before a commercial and 5 seconds after a commercial: The 5 seconds problem
3) Is it possible to reduce the commercials cut with some seconds: the padding problem.
For problem 1 and 2 i would like to receive log and mpeg files on my ftp site. PM me for the details.
Don't ZIP MPEG files if you ftp them because the smallest problem will make the big file unreadable. (please upload the mpeg again )
For problem 1 I am experiencing some amazing visualC++ optimisation problems. While in debug mode everything is OK, in release mode it totall screws up. So I did rewrite the commercial generation part (which was way to complex anyway)
Problem 2 must be in the segmentation and can possibly be judged from the log file but best from the mpeg
Problem 3 is now clear I assume.
