That worked. I got the web site on the client. I got so excited I tried imputing jim-p-c as the host name in the NPVR addon for Kodi. I'm getting a message now in Kodi telling my my pvr recording times but I haven't figured out how to be able to see the addon in Kodi. Hopefully, the file you asked for is attached.

and then from the server compress and upload web.log

this works much better if the "hosts" file has jim-pc assigned

i.e.
192.168.xx.yy jim-pc

No it was in use, so it couldn't be compressed.

My earlier suggestion to run ping jim-pc from the command line is valid but since you are running a static IP of course you were correct that looking at the properties of you NIC is the best answer.

I apparently have the NPVR Kodi plugin working as I'm not getting "disconnected" messages from Kodi and I am seeing pvr recording messages. But, I'm not seeing the NPVR display anywhere in Kodi. Should that be occuring automatically or is there something else I have to do to implement it so I have a selection on the home menu?

When you have a PVR addon enabled in Kodi, you should see a TV option in the main menu, with submenu items like 'channels', 'guide', 'recordings' etc.

I've got the NPVR addon enabled but I'm not seeing that menu item. Guess I need to work on it a little harder. When I first start Kodi, however, it does flash pvr upcoming recordings at the top right of my screen.

Anyone have any ideas about this. I have installed, configured and enabled the NPVR addon in Kodi. I get no error messages or indications there is a problem. After I restart Kodi I get an "PVR banner announcement" indicating every thing scheduled to be recorded that day on the server, by the server installation of NPVR, which indicates to me Kodi is connecting in some fashion with the NPVR addon. But, I'm getting no menu selection for the NPVR addon. I have no idea where to go from there. I do have another entry on the menu that: (A) lists an epg (not the NPVR one) and which allows me to watch live TV if I want to but offers no recording method, (B) the recordings that have been made. I also have the HDHomeRun tuners enabled.

I'm not sure if you able to have two PVR plugins enabled at the same time. It sounds like you've got an IPTV or HDHR one enabled, so that may be stopping the NextPVR one from being used.

I think I'm just going to leave well enough alone. I did disable the HDHR addon and Kodi said I no longer had a pvr. Then I enabled NPVR but Kodi was never able load any channels so in the end I disabled NPVR and went back to HDHR, even though I can see no way to initiate recording from its epg screen. It's easy enough for me to take care of setting recordings from the server NPVR, which works great.
