Dear All

I've just started out with NextPVR (although I was using GBPVR for many years some time ago), and am extremely happy with how it works in my current setup.

Dish pointed towards Astra 28.2
Second offset LNB to receive Astra 19.2
WinTV-Starburst
DiSEqC 1.0 switch (to bring the Astra 19.2 and Astra 28.2 feeds onto a single cable for the Starburst)
Kodi as clients on Kindle FireTV Stick, Windows Laptop and MacBook Air

The only limitation, which I would like to overcome is only having one tuner and sometimes wanting to watch/record two channels at the same time.

Could I simply add a second WinTV-Starburst and a second DiSEqC in the same PC? Is it possible to have two TV cards the same in this way?
Will this give me the full flexibility to watch/record any of the following combinations at the same time (for live TV, watching on two different clients of course)?
- Astra 19.2 / Astra 28.2
- Astra 19.2 / Astra 19.2
- Astra 28.2 / Astra 28.2

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

If your lnbs are both twin output (or better) then by duplicating what you already have - extra tuner, extra DisEqc switch and extra cable I can see it working - so each tuner can access a port on each lnb.

Or you can use single SAR 422 WSG?

Quote:Distribute your satellite signal over a star configuration still from multiswitch or LNB in the individual rooms and now you need a second line? Or are you planning to switch from cable to satellite and want to use your old wiring on? UnICable makes it possible.

The standard distribution technology in the satellite range is the so-called star distribution (satellite block distribution). From the LNB or multiswitch go to all terminals an individual cable, this is the most common type distributing. With Unicable a new dimension comes into the wiring and use of satellite TV.
Third most expensive option would be replacing everything...

Yes, both the LNBs are quads, and two cables are already in place to the PC (DISEcQ will go in the loft where all of the feeds from the LNBs come in)
The bit I was not certain about is whether NextPVR could handle two TV cards.

Thank you!

But this doesn't solve the main issue, that the TV Card only has one tuner (or am I missing the point?)
Thanks

My main machine has 2x dvb-s2, dual dvb-t, dvb-t2, 2x analogue pci and usb.

It's not if npvr will support multiple tuners, it comes down to if manufacturers drivers support multiple cards - Hauppague is normally pretty good at this. You could drop a question on their forum or give them a ring to confirm.
