Nextend Help

I have been slowly figuring out NPVR and Nextend.

My first problem was with the TV Guide listing. It wasn't until I ran nextend in a command window with the OID for the current game that I realized my TV Guide setup was the problem. I setup my TV guide listing to append an * after new or live shows. So football show title was "NFL Football *". Nextend didn't recognize NFL Football * so nothing ever processed. I changed the TV guide setting so no * for football in the TV Guide.

The next problem was connecting to LivePvrData.Data.Net. I setup my router with port triggering blocking all but specific ports. I turned off port triggering opening the ports and Nextend seemed to work. It extended the recording time by 11 minutes for CBS Weekend News.

I thought I finally had everything set and then as I watched the Colts Texans game I missed the last 30 seconds of the game and the OT finish.

What port(s) does Nextend use for connecting to LivePvrData?

You were talking to my server ok on port 8080 but I can't understand the log, I wasn't monitoring the game to see if ESPN was reporting things incorrectly but it looks like it was still be reported as pre game. It would be interesting to see if others say this.
