Hi, everyone.
My HDHomeRun just arrived today but I can't get the scan in NextPVR working to get channels.
HDHomeRun View does show live channels on my PC so that seems to be working fine.
When I run a scan in NextPVR, no channels show up.
I saw another thread that mentions patches for an older version.
I have my HDHomeRun Setup BDA Compatibility Mode set to NextPVR.
I'm running 3.8.3.
Attached are my logs.
What am I doing wrong?

A couple of things - you're getting channels from an antenna right (ATSC)? This is what the scan shows in the log. If you'd intended to get channels from cable, you'd use QAM instead of ATSC.

Try scanning with the firewall temporarily turned off to see if it makes any difference. Some users have issues with firewall software blocking data from the HDHR being delivered to NextPVR.

In the HDHR Setup utility, set the main application to Default or Mediaportal or something other than NextPVR, because that has caused issues for some users!

I turned off the firewall and scanned using all of the BDA Compatibility Modes.
I opened the HDHomeRun Config GUI and as NextPVR was running through the channels, the Config Gui would show me the signal strength as each channel was being scanned. I've attached a screenshot as well as new logs.
It sounds like the scan is working but NextPVR isn't seeing them for some reason.
Let me know if there's anything else you'd like me to try.

I'm still leaning towards something firewall related. Since this is nearly always the cause of these symptoms for HDHR users.

I'm not an HDHR users myself, so the above screenshot doesn't mean very much to me, but two things that look weird - very low network rate, and the network target sounds like the stream is going to the localhost (which I assume is the HDHR itself rather than the PC).

Do you have any other software that uses the HDHR BDA drivers to check they are in a functional state? (The HDHomeRun View app doesn't use the BDA drivers, so not a good test)

I uninstalled my Parental Control software and now the scan is working.
