I think that your postupdateepg.bat file is bad because the daily update is not completing.

2016-10-22 03:02:31.851 [DEBUG][10] About to run C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Scripts\PostUpdateEPG.bat

should be followed by more steps.

Yes

Can you use File Explorer to go to C;\Users\Public\NPVR ... right click on npvr.db3 ... then Send To ... Compressed (zipped) folder ... attach the zip file to a post ... this is the NextPVR database that contains details of all recordings.

Plus a screenshot of the Pending folder that's shows a recording that should have already happened would be good. Thanks.

2016-10-22 03:02:31.851 [DEBUG][10] About to run C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Scripts\PostUpdateEPG.bat

So, it would be best if you:
  1. Rename C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Scripts\PostUpdateEPG.bat to C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Scripts\PostUpdateEPG-bad.bat
  2. Either stop and restart the NextPVR Recording Service (using the Windows menu items under NPVR) or (best bet just to be safe) restart the computer
  3. Go into NextPVR native user interface on the server, go into settings, Channels, and click Update EPG
  4. After that completes, go to the About section in the settings and click the "Zip my logs for me..." button
  5. After that completes, come back to the forum and post that .zip file in this thread.

In addition to doing all that BrettB suggests ... you might want to rename all of the .bat files in the scripts folder (if there are any others) so that none of them will run and you get a vanilla operation.

At this point the only thing I'm trying to implement besides recording is NextEnd. I at least want to confirm whether or not I'm doing batch files right.

As requested. All programs in the screen shot should have recorded, but didn't.

You just need to copy the two lines in the wiki,

Code:
taskkill /IM NextEnd.exe /f
start /b "" "%PROGRAMFILES%\NPVR\NextEnd.exe" --monitor

Use that and update the epg manually from NextPVR and then zip and upload your logs and I will let you know if it is working.

It may still be hung. Stop the serivce and restart.

Don't know if the screen froze or the process froze, but I attached the log after UpdateEPG ran for approximately 3-1/2 hours.

Well, from the NRecord.log file, it appears that you attempted to just stop and restart the Recording Service (rather than reboot) and it did not start up properly:
Code:

This problem could just be because you tried to restart it to quickly after stopping it. Or it could be related to the fact that it had problems stopping the service:
Code:
2016-10-24 17:15:13.355    [DEBUG][795]    OnStop()
2016-10-24 17:15:13.355    [DEBUG][795]    About to stop webserver

2016-10-24 17:15:20.584    [DEBUG][795]    recording service stopped
2016-10-24 17:15:20.584    [DEBUG][795]    OnStop() complete...

There is also something strange looking (to me at least) in your NPVR.log file relating to a screen saver:
Code:
2016-10-24 17:26:03.414    [DEBUG][1]    ActivatePopup: RandomPhoto
2016-10-24 17:26:04.229    [DEBUG][1]    File: D:\GregAndDiana\Pictures\Digital Frame\Portrait\P3210048.JPG  Orientation: 1
2016-10-24 17:26:04.303    [DEBUG][1]    No C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Scripts\ScreenSaverStart.bat file found
2016-10-24 17:38:32.034    [DEBUG][1]    raw message: 0x0
2016-10-24 17:38:32.035    [DEBUG][1]    Not processing: 0x0
2016-10-24 17:38:32.431    [DEBUG][1]    raw message: 0x0
2016-10-24 17:38:32.431    [DEBUG][1]    Not processing: 0x0
You might want to set the screen save (in the NextPVR settings screen) to None until you get everything working.
