Resume and Pause with DVR-MS

Suppose this is a question for Sub. Will we ever have all the features that we get with .mpg files like resume, pause live TV etc?

DVR-MS is favourable is its native and stable

I get that already with DVR-MS in GBPVR - works perfectly for me including timeshift. Tested it exceptionally hard over the weekend with dual recordings, pause/resume, timeshift with ff and rw. Not a single hiccup

Ummmmmmmmm From the readme of the latest release:

- Added 'Microsoft DVR-MS' to the list of mux filters. Please note, this mux option is not compatible with timeshift mode for viewing TV, so it selected should only be used for recording or live preview mode. Also be aware that this mux filter produces .dvr-ms files instead of .mpg files.

Lol, i know but I've had no end of problems with the other muxers so thought i'd give dvr-ms a go in the new release (figured there was nothing to lose) and it works perfectly for me in every respect so I'm leaving well alone despite Sub's concerns. I agree that all this seems a little unlikey but would be interested to know if anyone else has it working.

It may well already work for you. Try it. I was primarily making this comment due to the MVP not being able to natively view dvr-ms...transcoding in timeshift mode is just not practical.
