Resuming a video

Can you only use this method when running in the web client because I can't get it to work when running in NPVR? I assume "position" is supposed to be number of seconds (integer)?

It'll also work with plugins running in NPVR. Yes, it's a number of seconds.

Is there any more metadata that can be passed on to Kodi? For example, the title of the video, thumbnail, etc. so it can be displayed in the Kodi OSD during playback?

It wouldn't be too hard to extend x-newa's interface to Kodi JSON to scan a movie library subfolder before playback.

I already have all the metadata so is it not possible to pass this information on to the Kodi player for the current file temporarily without a scan? It seems that is what X-Newa does for TV recordings?

sub, it would be great if I could send at least the title to Kodi. Any chance you could add this maybe using the same mechanism as the resume point? Thanks.
