Video won't play

I'm attaching the logs. This particular video plays in the default windows video player but doesn't play in NPVR.

Can you supply a 50mb or chunk for me to try playing it here?

sub -- how do i do that without changing the file format? What I mean is if i were to splice it, it would convert the file and that would defeat the trial on your side. maybe it's a one time fluke. I mean the file converted fine and comskip even ran fine on it.

You can use the CutChunk utility to grab part of that file without converting it:

That chunk is playing ok here. Does it play there?

Like I said, the file has played no problem in other video applications but for some reason hangs up in NextPVR. It's not consistent so I'm just wondering if it's just a fluke.

Did you actually try playing that chunk, or just the original full file?

The chunk plays fine, which makes me think NextPVR itself is fine with the file, so probably just comes down to your choice of decoders.

so odd sub... yes the chunk plays fine within NextPVR itself. I've played around with decoders to read the master file to no avail :/ It did the same thing with another video file i recorded. It won't play in NPVR but fine in VLC. And some files play fine. Incidentally, the two videos that won't play were recorded from the same channel, so i wonder if whatever is being recorded from that channel is contributing to the file not being able to be processed correctly?

If you can manage to get a chunk, or short recording, from this channel, that doesn't play in NextPVR, I'll be much better placed to help you find what's happening.
