Unhandled Exception in most recent update when selecting TV Guide

I just installed the most recent version. Now the TVGuide function is broken. When I click on the link, I get a null object exception. Here's the stack trace. Log files are attached as a zip. --Kevin

Ok, other similar problems have been reported, apparently due to failure of installer to replace certain files that are in use. Doing a reinstall worked.

- stop the recording service
- remove "C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR" folder,
- rerun the installer
- run "C:\Program Files (x86)\NPVR\NextPVR.exe" -upgrade

Thank you Kevin.
I had the same problem, and your instructions sorted it for me.

P.S: The update that 'broke the Guide' was made using the "Update" button in settings that I've never seen before.
Previously it's been a link to download the installer - not sure if this is relevant or helpful, but adding the info anyway. ;-)

The good news is the bug was in 3.7.7 so 3.8.3 users have the fix in the button for the next upgrade.
