Backup Next Pvr

hi folks
I am having lots of problems with videoReDo opening TS files to edit on windows 10 never had the problem on windows 7
their is a problem with codec VBI Surface Allocator Broken have tried to fix this but its not happening is it possible to backup nextpvr @ schedule direct and go back to windows 7 or will I have to fresh install both programs was just a thought any thoughts ??

NextPVR stores everything in npvr.db3 and config.xml and both are in the data folder (probably C:\Users\Pubilc\NPVR). You should be okay to save the two NextPVR files, install Windows, install NextPVR, copy back the two NextPVR files. Make sure that the folders containing recordings are the same after the re-install as they were before. It might be wise to backup the entire Users\Public\NPVR folder (just in case). But ... the videoredo problem should be fixable ... it might be easier and safer to shout at videoredo than it is to re-install Windows.
