This is a long story which I'll tell in a thread I have in the hardware section...but in the interests of not boring everyone to death I'll be brief.

I am trying to set-up IPTV channels streamed from DVBViewer on my localhost the reason being hardware compatibility with a S2 tuner with CAM/CI.

In the NPVR IPTV device setup I use this URL

Code:
http://127.0.0.1:7522/upnp/channelstream/2342503047273382189%7CTF1%20HD%20%28fra%29.ts

The same stream works in vlc but in NPVR the result is sound but black screen, I can see the temp file growing and I can play the temp file after the event in npvr or vlc.

I tried changing decoders from microsoft to pdvd - not helping.

logs attached , I have a snippet of the TS if thats any use.

Did you set the service tyep correctly? ie, MPEG2 TS vs H.264 TS.

I set-up 3 channels all pointing to the same stream but each with a different service type, in theory the stream should be a straight forward H.264. Its an HD channel from an encrypted S2 transponder with DVBViewer decypting via CAM & Card.

The channel mapped to MPEG2 seemed to have identical behavior to the channel set to H.264, the channel mapped to internet TV (can't remember the exact terminology) appeared to behave slightly differently producing 2 temp files and dying after a while - though I didn't pay much attention because I assumed it was not the correct option.

If you do a recording, does the recording play?

Just tried skipping back on live tv thinking that may be a temporary WAF+ but still dark.
