Plex Channel for NextPVR

I am always getting "There was a problem playing this item." whenever I attempt to play Live TV from the Plex web client. Live TV via the nextPVR web interface at http://localhost:8866/modern/index.html is successful.

Plex Media Server version: 1.4.4.3495
Plex Web Client version: 3.1.1
nextPVR version: 3.9.2

I've attached "com.dcSoftware.plexapp.nextpvr.log.zip"

There are a couple of errors in there:
2017-03-25 23:48:26,006 (2ed4) : ERROR (networking:219) - Error opening URL 'http://localhost:8866/services?method=channel.icon&channel_id=7158'
OK,that's channel icon....

If you put this in a browser it works?

I've just tried mine, and it worked via plex web (and I usually use IOS). Not sure if recordings will work, but live tv should now. You need the very latest from github - I put a fix out about 2 weeks ago.

Do any of your live tv channels have logo media? Ie show a picture, do any other those that have media work? Also while I put in a fix quite a while back for channel numbers with decimals - I'm not sure if I here it actually fixed anything and can see you have decimal channels.

Yes, the Plex Media Server, Plex Web Client, and nextPVR are on the same machine.

If I put http://localhost:8866/live?channel=5.1&s...wmgr5dn290 in a browser it works - continuously downloading a file named "live" of type "video/mp2t" at a rate of about 1.9 MB/s.

I do not have any channel icons.

I have the latest version of your plugin as of yesterday evening (i.e. about 12 hours ago.)

For giggles can you add a channel icon to one channel?

I expect it must be to do with the decimal channels. At least it's being passed to nextpvr right. But I use those same channel numbers for keying in Plex. And maybe that objects.

Hi, I'm using Apple TV 4 as the client, Win7 is running as a NAS and running NextPVR server and Plex Server with the npvr channel.
So is there a way to make it work on apple tv 4 ?

I use an apple tv 4 and it does work - the live tv, not recirdungs.

So started to get this working after setting up NextPVR (on same host as Plex) and getting it working with LiveTV, guide data, and recordings. I can play live TV in the console on the host or via browser.

Now, when I go into the Plex Next-PVR channel, I setup the "server name" as 127.0.0.1 and I can see guide data, but when I go to play anything it just says "There was a problem playing this item."

I have a question that I can't figure out.
I have everything set up and working as listed but here is an example of the situation I can't solve:
- I have lets say a 1 hour long show currently recording in NextPVR and it's 20 minutes into the show
- I go into Plex to start watching the show from the start
- In Plex it shows the time start at 0:00 and end at 20:00
- So when I get to the 20 minute mark Plex stops, like the recording is over - but the show really has another 20 minutes that have been recorded but Plex isn't letting me keep watching into that automatically.

What am I doing wrong, or is that just how it works?

That's how it works for me as well and I just restart the show and fast forward. I'm not sure if there is any other way to have it continue the show until it's actually over. If there is, I don't know the fix.
