Kodi stops when loading channels from clients using the NextPVR client

I'm having a problem using the Kodi NextPVR addon. My setup us:

Kodi Krpyton version 17.4 running on Android TV 6.0
NextPVR version 4.0.4 (170820) running on a Win10 machine

With this setup, I can access NextPVR via a web browser on any other PC, using the local IP address of my Win10 machine: 192.168.xxx.xxx:8866. However, having configured the Kodi NextPVR addon with the same IP address and clicked "enable", I then get this message in the top right of the screen when I exit the add-on:

"PVR Manager is Starting Up 0%"
"Loading Channels From Clients"

Kodi sits there for a while, obviously trying to load data, then I get the message "Kodi has stopped". This happens every time!

Attached below are the Web and NRecord logs. I've been trying to resolve this for several hours, so any help would be greatly appreciated .

The logs you sent are incomplete because you stopped the recording service quickly (after 1 minute) while Kodi was still initiating. If you have a lot of channles t can take minutes for the Kodi PVR to load up channels even on fast machines with wired ethernet.

Thanks for the feedback.

I didn't stop the recording service explicitly, it must have occurred when Kodi crashed - which is what happens every time now.

My ITPV subscription has over 1600 channels so maybe that has something to do with it when loading from NextPVR?

I used to use the Kodi IPTV Simple Client and it had no problem loading all the channels.

PS: I'm running a Mi Box on wired Internet.

Not sure why the recording service is stopping, you might have an error in the windows event viewer. Even if Kodi crashes NextPVR should keep on working.

I strongly suspect that 1600 channels with all your groups is too much for any Kodi PVR addon and you will likely need Kodi support to resolve the crashing which is potentially unlikely given rules of the Kodi forums.

Well, this morning I deleted a few unwanted channels (still 1500 channels left) from NextPVR settings/Channels and then re-booted everything (server, TV etc).

I started Kodi and Voila! the NextPVR client started and loaded up all the channels and guide without a problem.

Can't think what the issue was, but I intend to leave well alone!

Thanks for your help and I think NextPVR is an amazing piece of software!
