I am attempting to use NextPVR with an IPTV service, following your YouTube guide.
I have URLs for IPTV channels and XMLTV and I add these to the Import Channels screen. The Channels list is imported successfully. When I click OK I get the prompt âWould you like to update EPGâ but this completes immediately without checking for XMLTV listings so all channels display â(no show details)â.
As a workaround I select âChannelsâ plus the âDetailsâ for the first channel. I set EPG Source = XMLTV and this enables me to enter the filename of the XMLTV file. If I specify the XMLTV url this causes a temporary file copy to be created in \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\IE\4XZWO7OP\xmltv[1].php
I can use this file to add the XMLTV listing information and, via Bulk Edit, can auto map the remaining channels. This workaround is far from ideal as the XMLTV file is static and must be manually updated.
Log files are attached.
I'm using NextPVR 4.0.4 (170820) on Win10 1703 15063.674 64bit
All advice appreciated.
