Client connection lost since Win10 update (Kodi/SPMC Fire TV)

As usual, Microsoft's latest "update" has jacked-up something. I have NPVR installed on a Win10 PC that hosts a Fire TV running the SPMC branch of Kodi. After the update I can not get an NPVR connection. I am connecting to the host Win10 PC as I am able to watch any of the movies or tv shows stored on it. I just can't get NPVR to connect. I've restarted everything and confirmed my connection settings on the client side are correct.

Any ideas?

disregard........... the ONE thing i forgot to try was a service stop/start on the host. everything working as should be now. i've been using this for years and forgot the first thing...lol.
