Yep, the device is definitely sending MPEG2.

I don't have an HDHR Extend here to test with, so you'd probably need to ask SiliconDust why it's sending MPEG2 even though you've got the transcoder setting enabled. As I mentioned earlier, NextPVR isn't in control of what format video you receive. It'll just record whatever it receives from the device.

Figured it out. I had BDA compatibility in the HDHomerun config set to Media Portal, once I changed it to default, transcoding worked.
