Hi All
I've been having an issue with most of the channels in the guide no longer populating data. There are some that have data but it follows no rhyme or reason as far as channel groups go. It seems to have started since i changed my epgCollector xml guide data back to EIT as Freeview Australia has stopped supplying MHEG5 guide data as of the 27/11, but i'm not convinced this issue is related. Using epgCollector as guide data source has always worked pretty well. I have checked the TV Guide.xml file created and it has data for all the channels and looks readable and some of these channels are being poplulated in NextPVR.
I should mention i was on 4.04 and i tried upgrading to 4.05 with no change, i have deleted all the channels for all tuners and re-scanned, deleted the EPG and rebuilt, still no change am also windows 10, but don't think its relevant.
Heres a screenshot of what the tvGuide page looks like and the TV Listings plugin page.

I have attached logs and the TVGuide xml (zipped) created by epgCollector. Looking at the logs in NextPVR it appears it can read all the data but has an issue saving the database??

Hopefully someone can help me..

It may be that the mapping between the channel and the records in the .xml has broken. What happens if you you re-map a channel to the channel in the .xml file at NextPVR Settings --> Channels then click the Details button? ... http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...nnels#toc6

Hi

I had checked that they all looked they were mapped ok and tried re-mapping a few to see if it made any difference. i also checked the SID's matched between the xml data and the channel mapping

I'm re-scanning at the moment, but it will take a while as I reconfigured some of the channels to grab data from inbuilt EIT data. Will advise if remapping now makes a difference. i have also tried deleting all the channels, re-configuring the tuners from scratch, emptying the EPG and rebuilding it... all with same results a few of the channels have data but most don't

UPDATE

OK.. after removing XMLTV as a source from all channels and changing them to None or DVBT/ATSC and them changing them back to XMLTV with channel maps, NOW i have all the guide showing.. so yes it does seem to be some sort of corruption, simply reselecting the correct channel to map down in the drop down box wasnt enough to 'reset' the mapping, which i had tried twice. It required removing it completely and re-adding it. Thanks for your suggestion Graham Big Grin

Has you actually hit 'Update EPG' after making these changes? You would have needed to for it to have pulled in the new listings for those mappings.

Its almost certainly the case that something had changed in the broadcast, causing the xmltv channel ids to change.
