TV Guide won't come up

Next PVR was installed by my grandson who is no longer in town. The TY guide wasn't showing anything except No Show Details for everything. I installed the new update and went through the EPG Setup, but nothing worked. I deleted TV Guide from the plugins and then put it back and I don't know if I used the correct settings and don't want to do anything else and mess it up even more. After several attempts to fix the EPG, I went ahead and bought Schedules Direct and set that up and went to channels in Settings and set them up and that looks ok. But when i hit TV Guide on the main menu, it blinks a window I can't begin to see and is blank! I have been trying to fix this for 3 days. Can you help? I am including my logs as per instructed. I'm not very experienced with forums, so beg your indulgence for a novice. Thank you.
I'm not sure i sent the logs correctly. I don't see a "Go Advanced" button or a "paperclip". Please let me know if I did this wrong and how to do it correctly. Sorry.[ATTACH=CONFIG]44929[/ATTACH]

My guess (for your original problem) is that you're using zap2xml to get your tv listings. The zap2it website was recently changed, breaking zap2xml. Apprarently there is a new version at http://zap2xml.awardspace.info/

Now that you've got Schedules Direct... if you go to the Settings->Channels screen, do you see your channels listed? If you click Bulk Map, do all the channels have their EPG source set to Schedules Direct?

I did go to the new Zap2xml site and downloaded the new version. not sure if I didn't follow the directions correctly or what, but I couldn't get it to go to NextPVR, so I got the Schedules Direct and I'll stick with that.
There are 48 channels listed on NextPVR. After loading SD and mapping the channels, 9 have SD, 23 have XMLTV and 18 have DVB/ATSC EPG. Should I empty EPG and update EPG? Will that fix the guide not being there? Thanks for your help.

Concerning zap2xml, I'll post my experience for others although the original poster has moved to SD.

I updated zap2xml and logged into my zap2it account as the instructions on the zap2xaml website state. I still had "no data" messages on the Npvr TV Guide even though the xmltv.tv file was updated. I was able to correct this by remapping each channel in SETTINGS > CHANNELS > DETAILS > MAPPING.

Go into the Settings -> Channels screen, click Bulk Map, and fix your mappings. You should be able to set all the channels to the correct SD channel mappings.

Ill have to try this as I am having an issue and needing to get it resolved as DVR is down for me (and I just got PlexPass and very disappointed with its ability to have both OTA and Cable.. thus why NextPVR is awesome-sauce)

I went back and changed them again, but it did the same thing. I ran the Update EPG, but nothing changed, so I deleted those channels (don't watch them anyway). So all my channels are SD, but the TV Guide still doesn't come up in the main screen of NextPVR. What do I do about that?

What do you see on screen when you select TV Guide in NextPVR? Do you see a grid with the channels listed down the left side (similar to this ... http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...al.TVGuide) ?

When you changed them to SD, did you also select which channel they're mapped to in the right hand column?

i displayed TV screen as requested and zipped and copied log files to you. The problem is NOTHING comes up when I select TV Guide. It's a blank screen. No grid, no channel numbers, nothing. The only thing on the screen on the left is the choices: TV Guide (which shows nothing when picked), Recordings, Live TV, Music, DVD, Exit (all of which seem to be working).
The channels in Settings appear to be ok. I tried to do a print screen and send to you, but it didn't work. I think the channel mapping is ok, but there is NO GRID in NextPVR TV Guide to send it to.
Again, I went to plug-ins early on and deleted TV Guide. Then i added it back in, but there were settings in the add in and I don't know if I picked the correct ones. Could that be the reason it "went away"? If so, shall I delete TV Guide again from Plug-ins and re-add it and what settings should I use? Or, if it isn't the issue, what do I do to get the grid back?
