Changed my recordings folder, and can't see my previous recordings

I got a 2nd HDD just for NextPVR recordings. I was recording on my C: drive, and now on my E: drive. I moved the recording folders and files to the new drive, but Kodi can't see those recordings any more, but it can see the new recordings that are set up on the new HDD.

What can I do to get Kodi to see the old recordings from before I changed recording drives/paths?

NextPVR stores information about recordings in its database. The list of recordings that you see in the NextPVR front-end and in Kodi is a list of the content of the database. Did you update the database to point to the new disk when you moved the recordings folder?

When I changed the recording directory, I went into the settings and pointed to the path where the recordings will be saved, and I moved the recording files/folders to the directory. Now that I changed the directory and moved over the recordings, how could I get NextPVR to show all my recordings together?

I couldn't find the config.xml for NextPVR.

It doesn't work like that. NextPVR doesn't look in your recording folder to check for recordings. It loads it's recording list from it's database of recordings it has made. When it load the recording list, it checks the files are where the database thinks they are (like for example, c:\recordings\someshow.ts), and if the file now longer exists in that location, it deletes the recording from the database.

If want to move your recordings to a different location, the way to do it is to click the 'export recordings' button, then edit the file to modify the paths, then use the 'import recordings' to update the database with the new file locations.

You could try looking in C:\Users\Public\NPVR to see if you have recording-backup.xml. Edit that file to correct the paths, then use Import Recordings.

*edit* I did the above, and while my old recordings show up in Kodi and are physically located on my new drive, when trying to play any of them, they don't play. Kodi does show info on each.

*edit2* after restarting the NextPVR recording service and rebooting my FireTV box, recordings from my old drive play.
