Would I be reading into this too much if I asked if there would ever be an Androit TV app? I know with Kodi we basically already have one but am curious nonetheless.

I don't know - I haven't started working on one. That said, about 80% of the phone/tablet app would be reused in an Android TV app, so maybe. (ie, all the code for locating NextPVR, connecting, retrieving channels and listings, scheduling recordings, cancelling recordings, streaming live tv, streaming recordings etc)

Sounds great @sub! I would love an Android app and would be happy to pay for it. Looking forward to what you have in store... Smile

Currently I use Emby with MX Player on my Android devices, but it's convoluted and clunky. I put your iOS app on my wife's iPad and it works really well.

Is this app specifically coded for AndroidTV or just a generic Android app?
Server:
CPU- Intel I5-8400, Ram -12GB, SSD - 128GB, HDD - 1TB, Turners - Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD, OS - Win 10 Home, Router - TP-Link Archer C7(AC1750).

Clients:
Intel NUC CPU - Intel N3700, RAM - 4GB, SSD - 128GB, OS - Win 10, Wired Ethernet.

As I said above, this is specifically a phone/tablet application, not an Android TV app. It will not work on Android TV.

(I do have the beginnings of an Android TV app, but that'll be later)
