It hasn't done it at all today. I'm thinking the channel I was watching yesterday had a weaker signal that was cutting out and when this happened would cause NPVR to crash for some reason. I noticed a couple times today I would pull NPVR from the background while watching a channel with a weaker signal and the picture would be frozen and only sound playing but it didn't crash out. I just went back to the menu and started the channel again and worked fine. I created a c:\temp folder so will check for the crash file if it does crash anymore.
We are having the same challenge here. I updated a few days ago. I get the same message when it crashes. Its crashed watching live tv and recordings too. I just checked the temp directory for the file. Its got the time stamp of the crash but as far as I can tell nothing in it. I will attach the logs which I took seconds after restarting from the crash . there is the dump crash file but has 0 bytes in it. Fortunately the crashes are not that often.. get at least an hours worth of run time before it happens.
oops forum error message says my log files are 2.61MB and the forum limit for this type of file is 2.29 MB and wont upload.
If anyone knows how to increase the log file limit please explain.

have you zipped up the log files? If so, perhaps check to see if there are any older ones you cna delete before recompressing the salient ones. 2.2MB should be enough space for compressed logs.
