Can't get live TV

Hi,
I'm on 4.1 and cannot get live TV. When I try either the Live TV option on the menu or select a program in the guide and choose "watch" I get a ...please wait... dialog then the screen goes black and nothing. Pressing the back button takes me back to the guide or the menu. Logs attached.
Any ideas?

Are you able to record the channel you were trying to watch and if so, are you able to playback the recording?

Just had my first failed recording for several weeks so I re-booted the PC. Now I sometimes get live TV, sometimes not. To answer the question, yes I just recorded and played back with no problem a short item on a channel where live TV failed.

If it works and then doesn't intermittently...that's often down to a signal problem.

Whilst I know the signal / quality stats are not always accurate dependant on your tuner, the logs show

locked=1, present=1, strength=42, quality=70 (took 31ms to check)

which don't look great to me.

Perhaps someone else with your tuner type can comment

While I think the signal strenghth is an issue there is something odd here

Did you import War and Peace from your own information? There seems to be an odd comment plus an error in the EndTime

I saw a lot of those parsing errors in the logs too. Definitely something not right there as well as the possible signal problems

Hi, sorry for the delay in replying, I didn't get an email to say there had been further posts.
Yes, War and Peace were imported and I missed a " T " from the date and time string for the end time. I have now corrected the database, there are no parsing errors in the log and I now can view live TV! So thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
