Kodi 18 Alphawith NPVR LAtest and Timeshift Hangs...

Hi,

With latext nextpvr server and kodi 18 Alpha latest nightly 64bit on windows 10, when trying to open a channel via nextpvr kodi addon with Timeshift enabled it hangs and messages stop at the below point in Kodi log:

Thanks, but Timeshift is key feature, and I am not convinced it is Kodi that has the issue, as dbvlogic addon works fine with timeshift.

time shifting in npvr came before it was put in to kodi. it has not worked with kodi properly for a long time i gave up with it over a year ago as it didn't work properly.

As gromgsxr mentions above, this 'timeshift' setting was never anything to do with Kodi's timeshift feature. The nextpvr addon had this setting a long time timeshifting was added in Kodi. It used to provide the ability to skip back in live tv, before Kodi could officially do it. Unfortunately they broke it recently. Next time I'm updating kodi addon, I'm likely to remove this setting (and possibly implement Kodi's official timeshift api).
