Hi, Sub,
Thank you very much for your prompt and helpful reply to my request. I did a "new install," loaded the channel list and EPG, after making the changes you suggested with NShared.dll. I AM BACK IN BUSINESS. I will now be able to finish my testing and make my report on the results. Sending me a "fix" on Easter weekend is above and beyond. (And Thanks to BrettB, too, for his concern and comments.) One more question, and then I will finish my tests. As far as decoders go, I am using the Microsoft decoders when one is available, and the LAV decoders when a MS decoder is not available. What is the best combination of decoders to use for good results with your product?
Larry
PS Forget about programming for a while, and take some time to have a Happy Easter.......8-)

It's mostly personal preference ... and it's about what works best with your graphics hardware and drivers and with your monitor or TV.

Lots of folk use the Microsoft decoders ... second favourite is probably LAV ... but the choice is yours.

I've attached a slightly later version of NShared.dll, which fixes one further issue I found while testing with your IPTV provider.

This build also adds some additional logging that can be turned on for M3U8 streams, which can give me a more detailed view of anything strange happening.

Hi Sub,

Thank you for the latest NShared.dll - However, one thing I noticed is that now when I use the ios app, everything works except the channels do not play - Originally, when you would click on a channel, it would buffer for couple of seconds and then start the stream - Now, when you click on any channel, nothing buffers, and then only the channel info appears with no audio or video.

FYI: I did restart recording - But no help.

Could this latest version of NShared.dll have anything to do with it? I have no clue about programming - Just wondering!

Appreciate any feedback and help

I just checked, and it's still streaming fine to the iOS app here. You'll probably need to reproduce the issue, and post the logs so I can check.

I will try it out now.

By the way - How do you start & stop NextPVR?

Every time I try to replace the NShared file, it says it is open in "nTray".

The installer created to shortcuts called "Stop NPVR Service" and "Start NPVR Service". Press the Windows button and start typing "Stop NPVR Service" name and you'll find it.

I installed the above updated NShared.dll - Still no luck.

I dumped it into:
C/Program Files(x86)/NPVR/

But no change.
