Recordings fan art missing

When I connect to NPVR from a remote location with my phone or tablet, no fan art is displayed for my recordings. When I connect internally the fan art is displayed ok.

If you view the web app recording page (http://127.0.0.1:8866/modern/recordings.html), are you seeing the artwork there? They use the same call for retrieving the artwork.

The web app recording page displays the artwork fine.

Now that it's visible in the web app, if you kill the Android app, and restart it, does it load the artwork?

If not, please supply your npvr.db3, and I'll check the artwork laoded for those shows.

I was still not able to see the artwork in the Android app, after killing it and restarting it, while viewing recordings and artwork in the web app.

I'm getting artwork with your database.

It might be worth killing the NextPVR app, then going into Settings->Apps->NextPVR->Storage, and clicking Clear Data and Clear Cache, then try running it up again. My theory is that maybe it timeout searching for the artwork first time, and it's now using the cached 'no artwork' for these shows.

That seemed to work. Artwork is back now for the remote address.

So does the Android app have different place for artwork for each address you enter in the app? When I used the Lan IP address I had artwork, but when I used the dynamic dns address I had no artwork.

So does the Android app have different place for artwork for each address you enter in the app?

The app is always asking for the artwork from the server, but behind the scenes some of it is being cached by network components. Those network components be doing the caching based on the whole URL, so a different IP address will look like a different url, and ultimately make it all the way to the server (and the result cached for future requests for the same content).
