Direct play, something not quite right

@sub Just downloaded the 1.3.180426 build and enabled Direct Play to give it a go. Recordings play fine with my Oneplus 5T phone but the skipping and scrubbing doesn't seem to work. If I try to skip or jump ahead using the timeline the recording starts playing at the start rather than at the skipped-to point.

Great news with the CPU load though, offloading to the device and my cpu drops to 3-5%!! Awesome.

Ok, that's generally good.

I have an idea why the skipping might not be working for you. Can you start playback, then do a couple of skips, then post your web.log for me to check my theory? The skipping is working here, but there is two async calls that happen around this time, and something timing related may be causing the order to be slightly different on your device.

Is it all seeks or just some of them?

I've added some additional logging around this for the next build, but I did find one thing that could be a factor. I did find you can get this on an in-progress recording, or one where the recording service was stopped prematurely while recording. Could this have been a factor in your test? ie, check on a recording that finish naturally (cancelled mid-recording is also fine).

Unfortunately the same behaviour is consistent in both completed and in progress recordings.

Just tried another Android device (Nexus 9 tablet) and same result

Try again with this patch, and repost the logs. It wont change anything, but will log some more info for me.
