Ticking the 'use legacy reader and Microsoft demux' uses the old playback components.
Tried it, had to turn it off, that version you have for the "Legacy Reader" is the version that causes total lockup a few seconds after a comskip occurs. Had to reset the machine, and revert that setting to off. Not sure what version was before that, that was recommended, is there an "old library" I can replace with the one that didn't do this?
Tacoma Wrote:I have been having a similar problem. I am using the LAV audio and video decoders with a Hauppauge Win Dual USB. I just downloaded and installed the most recent drivers (usbdrv263_23081.exe) from Happauge. It appears that the updated driver solved the problem for me. The video lag has disappeared.
I have the latest drivers for my card, didn't make any difference, it doesn't seem to do anything odd during live playback, only watching the recordings, so that typically has nothing to do with the card or it's drivers.
lost@c Wrote:That sounds very complicated. Why don't you just right click on the NextPVR background and click "settings"? (Works in full screen)
I'm using a remote, the remote uses the Right mouse button as a "Back", it's the only way I can get out of the TV Guide. There is no mouse or keyboard on this HTPC.
