Final thoughts...Nvidia shield pro? Use Kodi and or the android app to access NPVR on my current system, to use as a server/comskip box. Thanks again.

Some of the early 8th gen NUC kits do NOT have an M2 slot. Bummer! Strange decision on Intel part.

As far as commercial skip, I am not into collecting. watch once and delete. So I set the forward skip to 59 seconds and the backward skip to 10 seconds. Works pretty good in the US where most commercial breaks are multiples of 1 minute.
