ok, so i have created c:\temp directory. im currently recording a program and i have another scheduled recording in an hour. ill let you know how i get on. i have just tried to watch iptv live tv and it did freeze after a few mins of watching but no folder appered in that directory (c:\temp directory).

Basically it sounded like your recording service crashed.

Create a c:\temp directory, and do some recordings to wherever you normally do them, and hopefully you'll get that "recording service not running at recording time" again, and hopefully there is now a c:\temp\crash.mdmp. With this file, it should help me diagnose why it crashed.

Your freezing live tv may be happening when the recording service crashes

so there recording so far, im wondring if its happening when my pc wakes up to record.

also, how does it know to put a crash file in that directory ?

im still haveing the same issue with my iptv freezeing. but iv just had a good hour on the gold channel with out this issue. could it be something to do with the decorders ?

There is a bit of code that is run when the application is unexpectedly dying. That code explicitly looks for a c:\temp directory and will create the file there.

We don't have enough information to know. Anything would be just guessing. Sure, it could be your decoders.

ok, thank you. hopefully, theres something in the logs that will give us a better idea why this issue keeps occuring with the iptv live tv freezeing and recording failing

this iptv freezeing is unbareable does any one have any soultions yet ? i have disabled the tbs tuners, still no change. recordings seam to being working well with out any issues. i cant understand why i would let me record iptv with out any issues but not let me watch it live

Did you get a c:\temp\creash.mdmp?

If your IPTV provider gives you both .ts and .m3u8 versions of your streams (most do), try the opposite one.

sadly no, evan my recordings are now saying they have recorded a full episode. For example, when i got to watch it starts fine and then it cut out, like it does on live iptv tv as mention above. i use an iptv service called epic stream

i have a m3u url thats all they gave me, at the end of the url for the channel list it has .ts which ones best to use ?

Does it cut out at the same spot each time you play the recording?
