Hello.
I own a Triax TSS400 Mk2 SAT>IP server and wanted to try NPVR together with the TSS400. All for tuners are fond in the devices list but when I start a channel scan nothing was found, not a single channel. I'm not aware I've set up something wrong, but nevertheless here are my settings:

Having a look at the Triax Web-GUI I could see the first channel NPVR wants to scan was locked (but not playing) and stay locked until the NPVR recording service is stopped.
I've tried it several times but always with no success. Log files are attached (hope they are complete)

The TSS400 is working with MediaPortal2 the TV solution I'm using right now.. The Pro- Demo and the SAT>IP version of DVB-Viewer, are working flawlessly, same is true for the free version of TVMosaic. That's why I assume the TSS400 and my network is working as it should. It seems as if something went wrong on my NPVR setup, but what is it? By the way recently I didn't have any other TV software installed on my desktop system where I'm testing NPVR.

Thanks in advance
Claus

Nothing obvious stands out in the logs.

Does the frequency change as NextPVR progresses through it's scan?

Hi.

The frequency is changing in the NextPVR config window but not in the Triax WebGui. In the WebGUI the first tried frequency (10729) stays until I stop the recorder service...
Thanks

To be honest, I'm not really sure what to suggest. I'm not seeing any problem like this with my Digibit-R1, or DigitalDevices Octopus NET (eight tuner).

I did find an old thread where a user initially have problems on DVB-S2 frequencies with a TSS-Mk2, but that was resolved.

If you're up for it, you might need to try capturing the network traffic using Wireshark while the scan happens. Supply the file and I'll load it up here and take a look at what the device is sending in response to my tuning requests.

https://www.wireshark.org/

If you need help driving wireshark, let me know and I'll give you some steps.

Hi.
Thanks again.
Here is the Wireshark file of a complete channel scan. The system running NextPVR is 192.168.1.2 and the Triax is 192.168.1.100

Edit:
Needed to split the file as it was too big to be uploaded in one piece.

Hi sub,
did you find the time to look at the provided Wireshark file? I really appreciate any help getting NPVR to work. But as I can't find the error myself I need help.
Thanks.

I've just taken a look now (was away for the weekend). I've got a theory that it is due to a missing space coming from the TSS400 after the ":" in this screenshot. Usually you'd get spaces separating the header name and value. (See the couple of parameters above it)

Actually, I don't think it was to do with that.

Can you see if this updated NShared.dll patch helps?

Hi.
The patched dll works! Great, thanks. Right now I'm doing a complete channel scan and got many, many channels. Later today I'll start testing NPVR. Will report back if still is something wrong.
Many thanks for your help.
