Some shows won't record depending on title.

I'll set a scheduled recording for a show but when the time comes nextpvr won't record it.

After some troubleshooting it seems to depend on there being special characters in the title. I tried setting a manual recording with the title 'Corazón que miente' and it won't record, but a manual recording with the title 'Corazon que miente' will record.

Does the directory get created? Does the file get created within it?

It shows up in the Recurring Recordings section, but not in the Pending Recordings section. Also I've noticed the program isn't highlighted red in the tv guide like other pending recordings.

No directory or file gets created.

This conflicts with the fact it did actually try to start the recording, so it had definitely been pending.

I'll try scheduling a manual recording with that name and see what happens.

If you can zip and attach your npvr.db3, I'll try scheduling from the guide, to see if it goes red, or why not.

Can you double check whether it's turning red in the guide or not? Check both channel 534 and 34 for the specified time.

It is scheduling here and going red.

Was it a one off or recurring recording?

Quick Record does make it go red, recurring recording is what doesn't work.

When I set it to record all episodes it highlights red, but when set it to record only new episodes it won't highlight red.

After looking into it the series is in reruns and so isn't being tagged as new by the tv guide data. I think all the troubleshooting I did with different settings must have confused me. I'm feeling real stupid right now, pls feel free to delete this thread. Thank you for all the effort you put into helping me.
