I have 2 IPTV services (Area51 and Vader) that I use with NextPVR/Kodi and they both work great. Both supply the xml Guide data which I use with NextPVR.
Issue I have is the guide data is only for one day. Is there any way, maybe with another app, to get at least 3-5 days look ahead in the guide.
I am not sure if that is handled by the IPTV provider or if I can use a third party app to get a better guide, or if there is something I can do in NextPVR.

Any help on this?

It's pretty common for IPTV providers to only give a day or so of listing in their xml guide data. There is nothing NextPVR can do about this - it'll pull in all the data your provider is making available.

You'd probably have to ask your provider if they can provide multi days.

But do I have to use the xml provided by the IPTV service provider, or can other XML guides also work. If so, any recommendations on better guides?

No, you can use other xmltv sources if you like. I have no idea where you'd find guide data that is a pretty good match to the channels from your provider though.

To add to Sub's comment ... you can specify the source of guide data for each channel so you can use the data supplied by the IPTV or use Schedules Direct if you can find a SD lineup that includes the channels that you need or use something else. It may be that you only need good data for a few channels.

Does SD have look ahead data?

I will have a look at other guide data to see if they follow the same format for channels. problem I see is if I edit anything, It will be erased on any update.

As for SD, all I get is 'Unable to fetch SD-JSON lineups'

I spotted the FAQ about look ahead, but don't see anything about the warning. I registered and can't get a lineup.

Also, can't register on the forum because I can't figure out the security question. What is the 'letter that's next to itself'?
