New recordings not updating

I have noticed that new recordings are not updated within kodi automatically. I have to reboot kodi in order for the recordings update. Is this normal or am I missing something.

Old versions of the NextPVR addon used to have that problem, but it shouldn't be an issue with the current builds.

Could you define "old versions"? I saw this happening as recently as 1 week ago and I believe I'm using the latest build (It was a new Kodi install on a fresh Raspberry Pi)

I can't remember exactly when the fix happened, but if you're using Kodi 18, it should be fine.

Now I've got my NPVR server up again I've checked and my Raspberry Pi's are running Kodi 17.6 (which is the latest non-beta release).
Can you recall Sub if the fix was only in the v18 betas or should it be in 17.6 release version because it's not updating with the 17.6.

The Kodi 17 code base was a really long time ago now - I don't know if the fix was done that far back or not.

OK will wait for 18 to go final and will test again then.

I am pretty sure the fix sub is talking about was in 2016 https://github.com/kodi-pvr/pvr.nextpvr/...53a93cd1e4 which did make it into v17

If that's the case Martin .....it's not working as I don't see recording updates in any of my Kodi clients without them having a re-boot :-(

You need to send NextPVR logs and RPI debug logs after a recording to see what is being requested.
