Hi Guys,
I've searched for my couple problems but I'm not finding them in past threads, so excuse me if this has been covered before.
When setting up the IPTV device if I come back and change a channel number after the intial setup it deletes the stream address. You can't edit anything but the channel number, so you have to delete it, which brings another problem...if I delete it and then add a new one it screws up the channel range used when you use the plus / minus keys or the remote channel up / down keys.
Next, if I enter a few channels and then exit the device setup and go over and setup the guide and stuff things work perfect, but if I come back to add more channels it will let me add them, the guide update works, etc.. HOWEVER, it also screws up the channel change range used by the plus / minus keys or via my remote again -> whatever channels were setup during the initial setup is all that it will cycle through, any channels later added are ignored.
i.e. if I add 10 channels initially, then come back and add another 10 then 20 channels show as setup, but when I try to change channels via plus/minus or channel up/down it will simply cycle through 1-10. If I would choose channel 15 in the guide it would go to it, but if I change channels it drops back down to channels in the initial 1-10.
If I had 10 setup and decided to change channel 5's number to 11 it would change the channel number to 11, but it wouldn't work because the stream address got deleted, PLUS the channel range would now be just 1-4.
So basically you have to set things up perfectly to start with. If you try to add or correct anything later it breaks the channel change.
Is there a way to make it recognize channels have been added?
Could we make it keep the stream address when changing the channel's number?
Thanks!
Steve
