Have loved NextPVR for the past 3-4 years. Worked flawlessly.

In the last few weeks, either an update to Windows or some change to my network configuration has stopped NextPVR from recording. Things look normal when I set them up, but I end up with a .ts file of 0kb.

I can't tell if its a problem between NextPVR and my HomeRun Prime or one of those individually.

Logs from NPVR and HomeRun attached.

Thanks!

Unfortunately your logs don't show an actual attempt to record, so there isn't much to go on. Can you try recording, then zip and attach the logs again? I might also be worth checking the HDHR web page at the time you're recording, to check if it's locked onto a channel etc.

Will do. Looks like the Recording Service is crashing and not restarting. Just had to manually restart the service. Maybe a clean re-installation is in order. There was an error that popped up on the Guide page about an exception handling error.

If a reinstall doesn't fix it, try temporarily renaming your config.xml to config.backup or something, so that it'll create a new one.

Is the recording service running? Have you tried a reboot?

Yup. Rebooted and manually tried to restart the recording service. Those were the errors that popped up after that.

Going to try a fresh install of NPVR next.

Did a fresh install and got 1 or 2 recordings before thing started failing again.
Attached are the pop up that I got, plus the logs from NPVR and yesterday's HomeRun Prime log as well.
Thanks in advance for your help.

The pop-up is saying that there was a problem stopping the NextPVR recording service ... The NextPVR recording service should run in the background at all times and never stop. Did you see anything to give us a clue why the service was attempting to stop?

I have not. Nothing changed on the machine when it started having the problem. I suspect my next step is to do a clean install of windows and start over if there isn't any indication of what is causing the problem or attempting to shut down the recording service.

The only change to my system was a new router that reassigned IP addresses to all of my devices, including the HTPC and the HomeRun tuner.
