I have a COmpro T200 and Hauppauge PVR 250 - the T200 is set up for all digitial channels and the PVR is set for analogue versions of the digital channels plus four Irish channels

When I use TV guide, I can schedule, say the T200 to start a recording at 1800, and the PVR 250 to start at 1815 on a different channel no proble,.

But with Xrecord, it always comes up as a conflict, and asks me to cancel my other recording.

Is there a way round this? Thanks

Is it xrecord, xsearch or xguide?

if xsearch edit the skin.xml for fastfind and search for tuner count change it to 2. This should fix xguide as well.

XRecord I belive looks for the conflict status.

If you help me find out where I will fix it.

I have changed this setting

<TunerElement count="1"/> from 1 to 2

Is that right? It doesn't seem to have made any difference to Xguide or Xsearch

Yes I am afraid so. I haven't been able to restart my system - would that make a difference?

restart gbpvr not necessarly the system. Do you see the problem when you schedule it? Or just see them as conflicts in xrecord?

I have two tuners now so I can repro the problem. Can you describe what you are doing to create this, just two shows at the same time?

Second does xguide or xsearch give you a warning about the conflict?

Does xrecord show it as a conflict?

When i try to schedule through Xguide I am asked to cancel the 'old recording' or the new one.

It is fine through Xsearch - schedules two at same time

I have never seen a conflict shown in Xrecord bcs it either tells me to cancel in Xguide or it works in Xsearch.

Hope that helps...

Also a little problem - I start GBPVR and use Xsearch to look for any number of programs. But if I exit Xsearch and open another menu item, and then go back to Xsearch the 'keyboard' is not shown. I have to restart GBPVR to make it work properly again. Just to let you know

Ok I found the problem in xguide it will be fixed for the next release. Probably some time today.

Also I force the keyboard to reappear now whenever you enter the plugin.

This is kind of similar to the problem I'm having with my two boards. I've scheduled recurring recordings using fastfind, and gbpvr will us the 2nd board if there are two shows running at the same time, to record both. What I can't do though, is go into XGuide and quick record a show if one is already being recorded. I get the Error: Object reference not set to the instance of an object. I've changed the tuner count in the FastFind skin, and am still getting this error.
