new install

I tried to simply move over my personal folder for my new machine, I was working on getting live playback working as my video library is perfect. it is a black screen. although I the HD homerun software it works.

Upon rebooting I no longer have a menu on NextPVR; I have never seen this.

If you right click, do you get the context menu? Settings->General, make sure 'UI Mode' is set to "PVR"

it is. I realized the resolution is stuck at some super large 4K size even though my tv is 1920

I set the font size to 100% and this fixed it.

You might also have been able to fix it by editing the shortcut properties. There is some settings in there about DPI handling, which I vaguely remember fixed it for another user.

Oddities I have noticed which may or may not have any relevance:
1. I cannot playback while recording.
2. The channel mapping does not appear to work anymore, i.e. HD channel 2 mapped to channel 2 because the is not need for a SD channel.
3. The background in the System Plugin is light blue.

What you're probably describing - the HD and SD will both have the same listings, and Schedules Direct will only have one copy of the listings, with both versions of the channel pointing at it. When you view the problems of the HD version of the channel, it might appear to be mapped to the SD version of the channel - this is normal, and nothing is wrong - you'll still get the correct listings in the TV guide for that channel.

1. The error appears to be in NRecord

2. For the remapping, my goal was always to change the channel numbers and remove the SD channels if there is and HD alternative. Is this no longer possible?

Yes you can have SD and HD channels mapped to different NextPVR channel numbers but you don't have to worry about which listing to pick.
