Screen Black or Blank Help...

Just installed the Hauppauge 250 card. For about 1 second I can see the picture, then it goes black. The sound is still there....

I can see the picture fine using WinTV2000 which comes with the card. I cannot use GBPVR.

I guess there is a setting I need to change to make this work. Any ideas?

Come on, dont take it so seriously - I was only joking. If you'd been around here long, you'd know I'm a pretty helpful guy that goes out of my way to answer nearly every question posted here.

Unfortunately, I dont have an anwser for your specific question. Does the same thing happen for each of VMR7/VMR9/Overlay?

Sorry...I was trying to respond jokingly (that was the reason for the Linux reference ). Upon reading my post, I realize it does sound angry...wasn't measnt to be. And thanks, you really do help us!!

I'm using VMR7 because I got an error using VMR9. I'll go try Overlay right now.

I have a HP PVR 350 and I am having the same issue ? did you ever resolve it ?

I have tried VMR9, VRM7 and overlay nothing works. Win tv2000 gives picture but not gbpvr.

I have set the capture source as per instructions, have set up the epg and see the channels in the channel list.

How doe the channels in the list map to the cable frequencies ?

Maybe I am thick as #### but I am missing a point here any clues

I think your error is likely to be something else. This problem described in this topic only relates to VMR7, and comes right if you resize the window.

How are you connecting the TV signal to your PVR350 - SVideo, Composite, Tuner?

The channels numbers relate to frequencies through pre-defined tables for each country. More info at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library....ing.asp
