Help with Synology NAS

Yes, I have tried it every way possible. No luck.
I really think it has something to do with either a shared folder or the volume setting in post #1.
Please don't spend much time on this. I find I usually have a dream days later that works things out.

Did you try with their DSM utility? I didn't have to use the command line on OMV

Martin, not sure I understand, do you mean Terminal inside of DSM? If so, yes.

Well, WTF? I get the login screen. Let me play with the devices and see if I can get the channel scan to work and any live or recorded tv.

It saw all my HDHomeRun devices, I scanned the channels, then after it completed the scan, the devices were lost. No guide was created.
I stopped then started the container again and it created a different port. So I was able to run an EPG update again using 32786.

So how do I run the client from the NAS?

Ok, calling it a night but I'm not able to see any folders at all. That's the crux of my problem. It appears no folders were created. I can scan channels but they don't play due to 'streaming failures, transcoder exited'.
I'll circle back tomorrow.

You will have to read on on that app on how to use fixed ports and create folders. You will need to use an external client https://forums.nextpvr.com/forumdisplay....er-Clients
